The Nigeria President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Monday night, met with his predecessor, General Muhammadu Buhari, (retd.) in London, United Kingdom.
It a picture shared via social media on Tuesday, Bola Tinubu and Buhari were seen shaking hands.
The presidency had on on Saturday revealed that the president was travelling to the UK from France, where he had been attending a summit convened by French President Emmanuel Macron on “A New Global Financing Pact.”
The reason for the meeting is not yet known as of the time of filling this report.
However, Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Tuesday evening from London ahead of Eid-el-Kabir celebrations slated for Wednesday and Thursday.
In other news, the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Tuesday, arrived in Lagos State from London ahead of Sallah celebrations.
His jet arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in the Ikeja area of Lagos State where he was welcomed by a waiting crowd of supporters.
The president was received by the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Service Chiefs and other top government officials who were also present at the airport.
This concludes his one-week trip to Paris, where he attended a summit for A New Global Financing Pact hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, and London, for a private visit.
