Ayotomide Labinjo, mum of 11-year-old Anu Adeleke, has broken her silence following the trendy uproar stirred by her daughter’s bold video statement.

In the clip, shared on Sunday, 5th of January 2025, Anu Adeleke confidently introduced herself as the eldest daughter of Davido , expressing gratitude to everyone who made her 11th birthday, celebrated on 4th of January 2024, memorable.

However, her claim of Adeleke’s heritage sparked widespread reactions on social media.

The controversy drew a swift response from Davido’s former lawyer, Prince, who challenged Anu’s assertion. He refuted her claims by presenting detailed DNA evidence questioning the validity of her alleged connection to the prominent Adeleke family.

Hours after the controversy erupted, Ayotomide Labinjo, who has long been rumored to have had a brief encounter with Davido in 2013, broke her social media silence, reappearing online after an extended hiatus.

On Monday, 6th of January 2024, she shared an emotionally raw post on her page, reflecting on her journey of resilience. She opened up about the scars she has borne and her continuing pursuit of healing.

She wrote;

Her return to the spotlight triggered a wave of mixed reactions.
