Niger Delta Minister Vows to Enhance Peace and Security During His Tenure

Abubakar Momoh, the recently inaugurated Minister of Niger Delta Development, has officially taken up his position.

FRESHREPORTERS MEDIA reports on Monday evening that the Chief Information Officer of the ministry, Momoh, who was initially designated for the Ministry of Youth, affirmed his commitment to actively improve peace and security in the Niger Delta region.

Momoh’s objective is to effectively implement President Bola Tinubu’s initiatives and policies, ultimately leading to an improved quality of life for the region’s residents. He conveyed this assurance during his welcome ceremony at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja, following his swearing-in by President Tinubu.

“I am dedicated to fostering collaboration with pertinent stakeholders and government entities to realize the vision of Mr. President, especially with regards to vital projects like the East-West road, which holds immense importance for the region’s advancement,” he emphasized.

Dr. Shuiab Belgore, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, reaffirmed the staff’s unwavering loyalty and commitment to fulfilling the Ministry’s mandate.
