INEC receives delivery of last batch of BVAS ahead of presidential election

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC through it boss, Professor Mahmood Yakubu has received the last batch of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation machines (BVAS) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

The machines are available to cater for the 2023 presidential election coming soon.

This was revealed in a statement signed and issued out by INEC National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, via it Twitter page on Wednesday.

Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Who is the INEC Chairman, National Commissioners and senior officials of the Commission were all on ground to take delivery of the BVAS at the airport located in Abuja.

The general election is coming up in a month time, February.
