The Former President of Nigeria President, Olusegun Obasanjo Okays the Southeastern part of Nigeria ahead of the coming presidential election.
Obasanjo declares his support for a Nigerian President of Igbo line in the 2023 general election.
Ex president of Nigeria Obasanjo, while hosting one of the aspiration ahead of the 2023 Presidential election made this proclamation on Thursday.
The Presidential aspirant which is Sam Ohuabunwa was welcomed by the former president Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun state said it was time for reconciliation in Nigeria by supporting a president from the Southeastern part of the nation to step into office as the next t president of the nation in 2023.
The former president stressed out that southeasterners can bring a lot to the table of Nigeria as a whole if elected to the office of the President .
“Beyond bringing unity to Nigeria or being the cement that holds Nigeria together, I believe that Southeasterners can model hard work and entrepreneurship.
“This will help in wealth creation and fight against poverty, which is ravaging Nigeria,” Obasanjo states
However, He warned Ohuabunwa that running for Presidency is a tough job.
