The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed reports of an ongoing recruitment exercise, describing the claims as false and misleading.
In a statement via the Force’s X handle, on Sunday, 31st of August 2025, the Force urged the public to disregard the circulating information, stressing that no recruitment process is currently taking place.
The statement reads:
“The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the general public that the information currently circulating regarding an upcoming recruitment exercise is false and misleading as no recruitment is currently taking place within the Force.
“Members of the public are strongly advised to disregard such announcements and are encouraged to verify any information relating to the Nigeria Police Force through our official website and verified social media platforms.
“For accurate and verified information, always refer to the official communication channels of the Nigeria Police Force, which are available on all major social media platforms as well as our official website.”
