A man attempted to snatch a 4-month-old child after he pretended to be an Okada rider.
The suspect identified as a 25-year-old Ikevhukwu Odoh was arrested following a distress call at Okpunoeze Uruagu, Nnewi.
The suspect who is from Ehamifu in Isuzo LGA of Enugu State allegedly went into a compound at same address and attempted to snatch the baby named Success Odeh ‘f’ from her mother.

Meanwhile, the mother resisted and screamed for help which attracted the attention of the neighbours who in conjunction with local vigilante assisted the police in arresting the suspect.
The police said the case is under investigation to ascertain the motive behind such act after which the suspect will be brought to justice.
