Xenophobia: Tiwa Savage Condemns Attacks, Cancels DSTV Show In South Africa

Nigerian Afro-pop queen, Tiwa Savage has also expressed her voice in condemning the recent xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa.

It would be recalled that there has been series of uproar following the break out on Sunday of another round of Xenophobic attacks on foreigners, including Nigerians living in South Africa.

As a reaction to the unfortunate incident, Savage has declared her decision to cancel her scheduled performance at the upcoming DSTV delicious festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September.

She also commiserated with the victims and families of all those affected by the attacks.

She wrote on Twitter:

“I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.”
