The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has awarded the sum of N10 million compensation to the wieves of police officers killed during the ENDSARS protest.
It has become evident that the governor has fulfilled his promise to compensate the families of the slain policemen and rebuild destroyed police stations.
The governor’s gesture was revealed on Lagos State Government’s twitter handle on Thursday, December 3.
The tweet reads;
Governor @jidesanwoolu handing over a cheque of 10 million naira each to the families of police officers who lost their lives during the unrest that followed the EndSARS protest and awarding scholarship to their children.

This is coming as the Lagos State Government set up a N200 million fund for victims of police brutality in the state.
