We’ve Sent Boko Haram Out Of North-east, Remaining Borno says Buratai

The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, says Boko Haram terrorists have been pushed out of all the north-eastern states accept Borno State.

Buratai said this at a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday.

He added that the troops are sharing intelligence to rout the insurgents out of Borno.

In a statement issued by presidential publicist, Garba Shehu, Buratai said:

There are no Boko Haram terrorists in neighbouring states.

Boko Haram is out, and now cornered in Borno State.

We are coordinating with civil and traditional authorities, mobilising and reinforcing and all we need is patience. We will not relent
