[Video] Senator Dino Melaye Officially Announces Governorship Race In Kogi State Election

The senator representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye has announced his interest to contest Kogi State governorship race this November.

The lawmaker who currently represents Kogi West in the Senate, declared his intention to stand for the November 16 poll at a  Peoples Democratic Party meeting held at Maj Gen David Jemibewon’s Ayetoro country home on Saturday.  

According to him, the party leaders at the meeting asked others interested in the race to inform them within two weeks to enable the party to screen them and prepare for the primary election.

I think it's not yet time for Dino.Although loved and hated.But the work he does at the national assembly is of a great importance.Left to me,I will say he should concentrate on the national assembly.The Igalas wouldn't want to give in again,not after what they have suffered in the hands of Yahaya Bello.Unless Yahaya Bello secures APC ticket,then Dino can win him.That is my submission.

  2. Nice one there for Dino but I think it's wrong timing because governorship seat and that of the Senate are two different race altogether, or maybe he trust is popularity in the state..
