A state in the U.S, Ohio has cancelled the football match that was initially fixed to hold on Saturday.
The game which was supposed to take place at Illinois was quited due to the emerging numbers of infected corona virus count among team mates.

This decision was importantly taken because the head coach, Ryan Day had tested positive to covid19 and hence won’t be travelling for the match, the University reveals.
“We have continued to experience an increase in positive tests over the course of this week,” Ohio State Athletic Director Gene Smith said in the statement. “The health, safety and well-being of our student-athlete is our main concern, and our decisions on their welfare will continue to be guided by our medical staff.”
The university further revealed that more persons were discovered to be covid19 positive after carrying out the normal PCR testing this noon.
Freshreporters News gathered that this is the second time the Ohio state are cancelling a match.
The Buckeyes reportedly have two games remaining to be played on their schedule, which is Michigan on the 5th of Dec. and also Michigan on the 12th of Dec.
