Boxing day turned bloody in Benue yesterday, December 26 as two young men were gunned down in a gun battle in Naka, headquarters of Gwer West Local Government Area of the State.
The young men were shot in the bloody clash which ensured between two rival cult groups yesterday night.
The victims involved in the conflict were identified as a 17-year-old Terkimbi Tsekar and 20-year-old and Kenneth Nyiekura.
The duo were reportedly gunned down in two different locations but the same area of Naka.
The police in Benue however swing into action and arrested the suspected killers at the scene of the murder.
The victims have been taken to a private hospital in Naka by SO Awarga Alfred in company of a Police patrol team led by the DPO Naka Division where they are currently receiving treatment.
