Two Nigerian Nationals Arrested In India For Drug Trafficking

Two Nigerian Nationals were arrested for alleged drug peddling in the Indiranagar area, in east Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

The suspects identified as Augustine Okafor and Achunke Nwafor, were arrested by the Central Crime Branch, CCB, of India.

The arrest was confirmed in a statement by the Joint Commissioner of Police, (Crime), Sandeep Patil on Tuesday, February 23.

He said:

“CCB has arrested two Nigerian nationals on charges of drug peddling and seized 56 ecstasy pills from them in Indiranagar.”

The police recovered 56 ecstasy pills from the two suspects and assured that their case has been registered.
