Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has lauded Sen. Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the presidential flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), insisting that President Muhammadu Buhari will hand over to a worthy successor.
Uzodinma, who is also Chairman of the just concluded APC Special Convention/Presidential Primary, called on other presidential aspirants to work hard towards Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 general elections.
He disclosed this in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen yesterday.
Fresh reporters reports that Tinubu scored 1,271 votes to defeat his closest contenders, Rotimi Amaechi, who pulled 316 votes and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who scored 235 votes, on Wednesday.
