Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has denounced the attack on Ohanaeze Ndigbo President-General George Obiozor’s rural residence.
Sani called the attack on Obiozor’s house “unfortunate.”
The socio-political activist asked security officials to guarantee that those responsible for the attack face the full force of the law.
“The attacks on the country residence of the President-General of the Ohanaeze, Professor George Obiozor in Imo State are terrible and condemnable,” Sani stated in a tweet. The arsonists must not go unpunished.”
Unknown intruders destroyed Obiozor’s house.
Prof. Obiozor’s rural house is in Imo State’s Oru East Local Government Area.
The arsonists were said to have used Improvised Explosives Devices, IEDs, and petrol bombs to raze down the building.
The incident was confirmed by Micheal Abatta, Imo State Police Public Relations Officer.
