Senate Passes N10.805tr Revised 2020 Budget

The revised 2020 Appropriation Bill, sent to the Senate by President Muhammadu Buhari, which increased from N10.59trillion to N10.805tn has been passed by the upper chamber.

Senate Passes N10.805tr Revised 2020 Budget

President Muhammadu Buhari had in a letter to both chambers of the National Assembly, requested the members to review the 2020 appropriation of N10.59 trillion.

The upper chamber of the national assembly passed the revised 2020 budget on Thursday, 11 June, 2020.

This comes after the House of Representatives passed the revised budget and also approved a request by the Federal Government to obtain external loans totalling $5,513,000000.
