Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall musician, has urged his countrymen to appreciate Nigerians because they understand musical potential.
Shatta Wale announced this on Sunday via his verified Twitter profile, which was preceded and followed by a sequence of tweets.
The rapper has previously engaged in a verbal spat with Nigerian music fans and artists, most notably with Grammy Award-winning singer, Burna Boy.
He stated that Nigerians should be acknowledged for the effort they put into their music, and that they recognized talent.
