Police rescued not fewer than 30 trafficked persons who were on their easy to Libya.
The victims comprising of 12 males and 18 females were rescued along Kongolam border while trying to cross the Niger Republic to Libya.
The Katsina state Police command Spokesman, SP Gambo Isah confirmed the development in a press briefing held at the police headquarters, Katsina.
The Police spokeperson explained that 4 suspected rapists along with 15 suspected bandits, their informants, fraudsters, Indian hemp dealer, and impersonator terrorising Katsina State have also been arrested.
