The Delta Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, has displayed the firearms belonging to suspected kidnappers and armed robbers, along with N500,000 in ransom money recovered from one of the suspects.
Edafe presented the weapons, which included AK-47 rifles, a G-3 rifle, Beretta pistols, and pump-action guns, while parading the suspects in the Ughelli area of the state.
He made this known via a post he shared on his X page on Wednesday, 9th of October, 2024.
The post reads:
“Today 9th october 2024, I was at ughelli to parade suspected kidnappers, and armed robbers and also showcased their arms which includes AK-47 rifles, G-3 rifle, beretta pistols, pump actions guns as well at #500,000 ransom money recovered from one of the suspected kidnappers.
“Thanks to the strategic deployment CP Special Assignment team (CP- SAT) to Ughelli, Ughelli is now very safe and calm.
