Police Officer Shot A Father Of Four Dead In Rivers State (Graphic Photos)

A police officer allegedly shot dead a father of four, Mr Jimoh Abiodun in the early hours of Saturday December 19, 2020.

The killer police man is a officer attached to Elelewon Police Divisional Police headquarters, Rivers State.

The officer allegedly murder the young man at the front of Elelewon Police Division in Obio/Akpor Local Government area of the State.

A non-governmental organization who took to their facebook page to call for justice for the deceased have called on the Commissioner of Police in the state CP Joseph Mukan to ensure perpetrators are brought to book.

The Centre For Basic Rights Protection And Accountability Campaign organization wrote on facebook:

“We are calling for a thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to the shooting to death of Mr Jimoh Abiodun,father of three children by a Police Officer attached to Elelewon Police Divisional Police headquarters in the wee hours of Saturday December 19th,2020 at the front of Elelewon Police Division in Obio/Akpor Local Government area of Rivers State, Nigeria.

We urged the Commissioner of Police in the state CP Joseph Mukan to ensure perpetrators are brought to book.

We condemn the trend of killing of innocent citizens by Police officers in Rivers State and call for an end to the senseless killings.

We condole with the family of the deceased victim.

We will ensure justice is done and manifestly done in the circumstance.”
