The police in Lagos State have arrested a suspected cultist while attempting to rob at No. 25, Ibomide Street, Ibeju Lekki area of the state.
The 20-year-old suspect identified as Lekan Razak was arrested by the Police operatives in Akodo Division, on 28th December, 2020, at about 4am.
After police thorough interrogation, the suspect confessed to be a member of Eiye Confraternity.
The cultist was arrested with a locally-made pistol with some live cartridges.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered for the transfer of the suspects to the State CID Panti, Yaba for discreet investigation.
