The Nigerian police have bursted another baby factory in Ogun state, just few days after 10 victims were rescued from one at Ofada, Mowe, Obafemi-Owode LGA, of the state on Tuesday, December 1.
The newly discovered baby factory was at Lagos Street, Adesan in Mowe area of Obafemi Owode Local Government of the state, police reports.
The spokesperson for the state police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed this in a statement on December 3.

According to him, the discovery of the home followed a complaint from concerned residents of the area, who informed the police at Mowe divisional headquarters that a particular building located in their area was suspected to be a baby-making factory.
An eyewitness account said:
“most of the women seen in the building are always with pregnancy and whenever they see delivered, they hardly see them with babies.”
“They stated further that from their observation, the babies are being sold,”
Responding to the complaints a police team led by the DPO of Mowe division, SP Marvis Jayeola, to the area where a man suspected to be working for the operator of the home was arrested with four women and four children.
The police discovered that one of the women is heavily pregnant, as one of them was said to have just been delivered of a baby, which was suspected to have been sold.
According to the police, preliminary investigation revealed that the home is strongly linked to the same Mrs. Florence Ogbonna, who was described as “a notorious baby factory operator who had earlier been arrested for similar offence and has her case pending in court.”
Freshrepoters had reported that on December 1, Police operatives rescued 10 victims after they busted a baby factory at Ofada, Mowe, Obafemi-Owode LGA, Ogun state.
The operator of the baby factory, Mrs Florence Ogbonna fled but they were able to arrest her daughter and a physically challenged man.
