Police Arrests Two Notorious Tricycle Snatchers In Anambra (Photos)

The Anambra state police command has arrested two armed robbery suspect at Parkers, Ziks Avenue, Awka LGA.

The police in conjunction with vigilante group arrested the suspects following a distress call put across to the police.

The police identified the suspects as Okafor Stanley ‘m’ aged 19years of Ezeawulu village, Nibo and, Benedith Sunday ‘m’ aged 21years of Ifite Village Awkuzu.

The spokeperson of the state command, CSP Haruna Mohammed said the suspects allegedly attacked and snatched at gunpoint a tricycle from a Keke rider at Ziks avenue, Awka.

Exhibits recovered in their possessions includes two locally made pistols and the snatched tricycle.

Haruna said the suspects have voluntarily confessed to the crime and investigation is ongoing after which they would be brought to justice.
