PHOTOS: Police Arrests Ritualists In Lagos

About 6 suspected ritualistic were this afternoon, April 20 in Shogunle and Ladipo area of Agege Motor Road in Lagos state.

The suspects were arrested after a failed attempt to abduct a street sweeper, it was alleged they specialized in abducting passersby along the road.

The street sweeper who cried out alerted residents of the area and area boys who came to her rescue.

One of the ritualist attempted to take off on sighting the residents but were apprehended by the areas boys.

However, the other 5 suspects were apprehended and brought out. The timely intervention of the police prevented them from being lynched.
