Police Arrests ISWAP ‘Errand Boy’ Who Swallows Sim Cards To Destroy Call Records

Troops have arrested an errand boy and logistics supplier to a notorious Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) logistics commander, Modu Sulum, recently killed by soldiers.

It was gathered that the suspect, Wida Kachalla, an indigene of Murguba Settlement, an ISWAP-Boko/Haram enclave.

He was arrested at Benisheikh Market, by troops of 154 Taskforce, under Operation Hadin Kai.

Upon his arrest, the suspect was said to have hurriedly chewed and swallowed his phone SIM card according to PR Nigeria a government public relations outfit.

It was gathered that the soldiers from FOB Ngamdi, led by their Acting Commander, 154 Task Force Batallion, Major DY Chiwar, in conjunction with local vigilantes, traced and arrested the suspects at Benisheikh Market.

The errand boy, Wida Kachalla, is a native of Murguba Settlement, an ISWAP-Boko Haram enclave.

An intelligence operative revealed that at the point of arrest, Kachalla, succeeded in chewing his GSM SIM cards, but his two mobile phones with IMM were recovered by the troops.
