Police Arrest Notorious Kidnappers With N3.6m Ransom In Katsina (Photo)

Police in Katsina state have arrested three Notorious kidnappers with more than N3 million ransom.

The kidnappers were Paraded alongside ten other suspects for various criminal offences.

Parading the suspects, the state police command spokesperson, SP Gambo Isah said the suspects were arrested by a team of Police men attached to Faskari Divisional Police office along the Yankara Faskari axis.

He said in a statement:

“On 25/02/2021 at about 13:00hrs, Police Patrol Team, attached to Faskari Division, while on routine patrol along Funtua – Yankara road, accosted the trio of (1) Lawali Duna, ‘M’. aged 40yrs, (2) Muhammadu Lawali Babuga, ‘M’, aged 22yrs and (3) Hussaini Abubakara, ‘M’, aged 30yrs of Kunkurmi village, Bungudu LGA of Zamfara state, notorious members of syndicate of bandits and kidnappers terrorizing Katsina and Zamfara states.

“Nemesis caught up with the suspects when they were intercepted on their way back to Zamfara state from Kaduna after collecting ransom money from the relatives of a kidnapped victim.

“In the course of investigation suspects confessed to the commission of the offences”
