NCDC Confirms 457 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria Center For Disease Control, NCDC, has recorded 457 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 17 deaths.

NCDC said it record a total of 44,890 cases, discharges 32,165 and 927 deaths.

The 457 new cases are in Lagos(137) FCT(76), Plateau(40), Rivers(35), Enugu(34), Oyo(25), Abia(23), Delta(12), Edo(11), Ebonyi(11).

Others are Cross River(10), Kwara(10), Kaduna(9), Anambra(7), Ogun(5), Imo(3), Bauchi(3), Osun(2), Nasarawa(2), Kano(1), Ekiti(1).

The country’s daily fatality toll increased to its highest in close to two weeks with 17 new deaths.

With 300,000 samples tested, out of 44,890 confirmed cases, 11,798 cases are still active across the country.
