JUST IN: Many Dёad in Oyo Clash Between OPC, Amotekun, and Herdsmen

So, there was this big fight on Monday in a place called Iwerele, in Oyo State. Two groups, one called Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) and another one called Amotekun, along with some others like Operation Burst and Soludero, got into a really bad fight with a bunch of herdsmen. It’s super sad, but many people are believed to have died.

Nobody is totally sure why they started fighting. The details of the news is not available yet as reported by Punch News.

However, there’s this important person in the community, they call him a titled Chief, and he said that it all began when the herdsmen took their cows onto a farm in the area and started letting them eat the crops. This made the owner of the farm really upset, and things got out of hand. Sadly, the farm owner lost his life during the argument.

People called for help from the police and some other security groups, like Operation Burst, OPC, Amotekun, and Soludero, to try and calm things down.

But, shockingly, it seems like the herdsmen ambushed them, which made the situation even worse.
