Man Kills, Buries Wife In Kitchen Over Infidelity

A man identified as Monday Uwem has killed his 26-year-old wife, Blessing Menaboo in Akassa, Brass Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

The 30-year-old allegedly murdered his wife and buried her remains in a shallow grave he dug in their kitchen.

The incident, which occurred at Aparama Fishing Camp, was said to have unsettled the area.

The crime was uncovered by neighbours, who apprehended the man and handed him over to the police.

According to Butswat Asinim, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), confirmed the development saying the suspect confessed to the crime.

He said;

Investigation has commenced into the murder of one Blessing Menaboo ‘f’ 26 years, a resident of Aparama Fishing Camp, Okumbiri Town, Akassa, Brass Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

The deceased was allegedly killed by her husband one Monday Uwem 30 years, at their residence at Aparama Fishing Camp and buried her body in a shallow grave in their kitchen.

The suspect who confessed to the crime was arrested and detained for further interrogation and Investigation.
