Marcelo, the captain of Real Madrid, has praised former captain Sergio Ramos after the Galaticos won the 2021-2022 LaLiga title on Saturday.
Carlo Ancelotti’s players won the title with five games remaining, and Marcelo was the star of the show at Cibeles.
During and after the match, the Brazilian earned a standing ovation at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

“It’s something great, it’s extremely pleasant to go into the history of Real Madrid, the finest club in the world,” Marcelo said during the post-match news conference.
“I want to thank Sergio Ramos who took me up there once.
“This is for the fans, we won LaLiga [Santander] two years ago and we couldn’t celebrate.
“Celebrating with the fans is the best thing there is, the party is theirs. This is the greatest joy a player can have, celebrating with the fans, after a home game… it’s absolute joy,” he said
