The Lagos State Government has selected Musiliu Akinsanya, widely known as MC Oluomo, an ex-head of the state’s chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, as the chairman of its Parks Management Committee.
In addition, Hakeem Odumosu, a former Assistant Inspector General of Police, has been chosen as the Liaison Officer between the government and the committee.
This was said in a press statement issued by Gbenga Omotoso, the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, headlined “Lagos government establishes Parks Management Committee.”
Dr. Taiwo Salaam, an ex-Permanent Secretary, was also appointed as the committee’s secretary, with Sulyman Ojora as the Deputy Chairman.
The appointments were announced less than four weeks after the Lagos State Governmrnt denied plans to appoint MC Oluomo chairman of the parts committee.
