The planned reopening of churches and mosques in Lagos State has been cancelled by the State Government.

While announcing this on Tuesday at a televised press briefing, the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu states that the development is as a result of the rising cases of COVID-19 in the state.

Churches and Mosques in Lagos State were scheduled to be opened on Friday, June 19 and Sunday, June 21.
