Kwara doctors call off warning strike

At 6 p.m. on Saturday, Kwara State physicians affiliated with the National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners, NAGMDP, will call off their seven-day warning strike.

Dr. Saka Agboola, the state chairman of the organization, made the announcement in Ilorin, the state capital, on Saturday.

He stated that the decision was made during an emergency meeting of the association’s members.

The decision to end the strike was made “on the favorable reaction of the state administration to talk with the association, just as it acknowledged the hardships of the patients as a result of the strike action,” according to the chairman.

I know the doctors are fighting for what is there right but there is many ways to kill a rat ,going on strike is not the best way to go about it because the government don’t care, all this are harmerling on the poor masses in the country. In the case of this strike many has lost there lives … Am happy for this news, I just hope is everywhere in the country….
