Stepping down for it’s earlier stand, The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB has suspended the use of the National Identity Number (NIN) for registration of applicants for 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME).
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) earlier stated that no amount of “smear campaign”, will stop it from using the National Identity Management Number (NIM) for the conduct of its exams.
Prof Is-haq Oloyede, the JAMB Registrar, announced the suspension at a briefing at the headquaters of the board in Bwari, Abuja on Saturday.
Oloyede was joined at the briefing by the Director-General of the National Identity Management Commission, Aliyu Aziz.
