The Public affairs analyst, Atiku Abubakar Isah, has called on the Minister of Education to investigate the rampant issues in many Nigerian universities, including practices such as “sex for grades,” victimization of students, and widespread corruption.
Isah alleged that numerous universities fail to account for the funds they generate from students, despite the significant tuition fees collected.
He further claimed that many university professors and senior lecturers are involved in corrupt activities, which often leads to their appearances at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the end of their tenure.

“When you talk about the corruption, which most vice-chancellors are found wanting, you can see that in most cases after their tenure, they are guests at the EFCC.
“But the most worrisome for me is the sex for grade, you have so many lecturers that have been caught and so many that have not been investigated.
