Following the deadly coronavirus outbreak that has spread from China, which at least 427 people have died with more than 20,000 confirmed cases around the world, most of them in China.
An attempt by the House of Representatives on Tuesday to evacuate Nigerians from China as coronavirus spreads from the country to other parts of the world, proves abortive as the house reject the move.
Mr Benjamin Kalu, who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, had moved a motion praying that Nigerians stranded in China over the health crisis be brought back to their home country.
However, the lawmakers, voted against consideration of the motion.

Several efforts to make the lawmakers listen to the content of the motion but proved abortive.
