Gunmen Ambushed And Attack Convoy Of Zamfara Emir, Kill 3 Policemen, 5 Others (Photos)

Unknown Gunmen on Thursday night attacked the convoy of Sanusi Muhammad, Emir of Kaura Namoda in Zamfara state, killing eight people on his entourage.

The Emir was attacked while he was coming back from Abuja by the unknown gunmen who also killed Three of his police security.

Comfirming the incident in Katsina state on Friday, the Zamfara State commissioner of police said the gunmen also shot dead five other people.

The Kaura Namoda Emirate Council are making arrangements to convey the bodies of those killed for burial.

One of those killed in the attack were Dan Amal of Kaura, who doubled as the father to the Emir, Shinfidan Kaura and Sarkin Dogarai.
