The governor of Yobe state Mai Mala Buni has shown support to good education by sending over 233 poor children abroad to study.
The children will depart Yobe tomorrow to study Petroleum Engineering, operation theatre, renal dialysis, medicine, anesthesia ,cardiac technology, pharmacy, others at Indian University.
The governor lunched the foreign Scholarship initiative which covers visa, tuition, accommodation, feeding, books, travels and pocket stipend.
The awardees who are children of poor selected across Yobe communities by Gov. Mai Mala Buni administration in 2020.
