Richard Mofe-Damijo, a veteran Nollywood actor, has raised worry for small Nigerian companies due to gasoline shortages around the country.
According to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, the importation of millions of litres of contaminated fuel into the nation interrupted fuel supplies across the country.
Scarcity has resulted, as have lengthy lines at gas stations and unfathomable hardships for Nigerians who must journey considerable distances to achieve their destinations.
RMD reacted by saying that the previous several days have been depleting owing to a lack of gasoline, a spike in diesel, and nearly no electricity supply.
In a post on his Instagram page, the actor sympathized with small businesses who are finding it difficult to thrive in Nigeria due to the situation.
His post read: “These past couple of days have been draining in between scarcity of fuel hike in price of diesel and almost non existent power supply.
“ I can’t help but feel so sorry for small businesses who can barely survive and need these basic necessities to thrive.”
