Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has stated that he is not required to speak with the club’s possible new owners.
Tuchel said this at a press conference on Friday.
The German stated that four bidders were still in the running to take up Chelsea from Roman Abramovich.
The former PSG and Borussia Dortmund manager also stated that, if he meets with potential new owners, he will do it as late as feasible.
“No, absolutely not. I’m not sure if they want to, and I’m not sure if I should. I don’t know if it’s a good idea or a bad idea.
“Maybe it’s best to be involved – if I am involved – as late as possible,” Tuchel said.
Chelsea welcomes Brentford on Saturday, as they seek to strengthen their grip on third place in the Premier League.
