Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has stated that his Liverpool opponent, Jurgen Klopp, is not a buddy.
The Spaniard, on the other hand, made it obvious that he admires Klopp, whom he feels has helped him become a better manager.
Guardiola was commenting following their 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.
Both teams will face again in the FA Cup semi-finals the following weekend.
“I don’t know if Jurgen respects me but Jurgen has to know I respect him a lot. He has made me a better manager.

“I have respect for him, but he knows next Saturday [in the FA Cup semi-final] I am going to try and beat him,” Guardiola said.
