EPL: Good luck, you deserve it – Ronaldo breaks silence on Solskjaer’s sack

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United forward, has spoken out against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dismissal as the club’s manager.

On Sunday, United fired Solskjaer and appointed Michael Carrick as acting manager while they look for a permanent replacement.

Solskjaer was fired after a string of dismal performances, including losses to Aston Villa, Liverpool, Manchester City, and the most humiliating of all, a 4-1 loss to Watford on Saturday.

When Ronaldo originally arrived at Old Trafford 12 years ago, the 48-year-old was the club’s main striker, and he was instrumental in bringing the Portuguese back in the summer.

“He’s been my striker when I first came to Old Trafford and he’s been my coach since I came back to Man. United,” Ronaldo tweeted on Monday, 24 hours after the Norwegian was dismissed.

“But most of all, Ole is an outstanding human being. I wish him the best in whatever his life has reserved for him. Good luck, my friend! You deserve it.”

  1. What goes around comes around, he was your striker and now your coach, is good to hear that he has always being there before you. Players now don’t listen to instructions except with iron hands, i think player power has been brought to man u alot of sturbbon players there now Ole failed to use his coaching power on them and that resulted to his sack, u don’t give player all the freedom he want always let him know that you are the head.
Let see what next coach will bring to man u dressing room, player like c Ronaldo should not start all the match , he should be rotated to give younger players playing time that will make him pipe low, man u should have allowed Mourinho he should have been giving a lot time in man u, Mourinho type of coach is what suits them.
They should have waited for us to play them before the sacking this weekend.
