EPL: Conte names club with good advantage to finish top four this season

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has stated that Arsenal has an edge over his team in the fight for fourth place in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur trounced West Ham United 3-1 on Sunday to maintain the pressure on Mikel Arteta’s Gunners.

Arsenal presently sits in fourth position in the Premier League, three points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur, who have played one more game.

Later in the season, Spurs will face Arsenal in a game that might determine who gets the last Champions League spot.

However, the former Chelsea manager feels Arsenal already has a “big edge” over Tottenham.

“The only way to put pressure on Arsenal is to get three points to win,” Conte said after Spurs beat West Ham.

“For sure they [Arsenal] have a good advantage, also especially because they’ve been working with the same coach for many years and they’ve had many transfer markets with the same coach.

“Maybe they are at this moment more ready than us.”
