Obaseki won his second term in office after securing victory with a high margin. His challenger Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress came with over 223,000 votes.
While reacting, the President reaffirmed his commitment in conducting a free and fair elections in the country.
The personal assistant on media to the president, Bashir Ahmad revealed the President’s reaction in a tweet shortly after Obaseki was declared the winner by INEC.
Taking to twitter, he wrote:
