The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has detained and seized illicit substances from two alleged drug traffickers in Yobe State.
Femi Babafemi, Director, Media and Advocacy, NDLEA, revealed this in a statement, saying that the arrest was part of the agency’s recent accomplishments in the country’s reinvigorated drug battle.
“In Gadaka village, Fika LGA, Yobe State, operatives apprehended one Hassan Usman with a total of 22, 110 pills of Tramadol, D5, and Exol 5,” Babafemi stated.

NDLEA arrests 54-year-old man with illicit drugs
He mentioned that anti-narcotics agents in Yobe State detained Ali Mohammed in a commercial truck traveling from Kano to Maiduguri with 40 blocks of cannabis totaling 33kg.
“Also arrested on the Kano-Maiduguri route was a driver, Ibrahim Khalil Idris with 60 packets of Tramadol, all on Tuesday 12th April”, he added.
