The pastor of A Deeper Life Bible Church and three other people of Benue State’s Guma Local Government Area have been slain by suspected bandits.
According to the DAILY POST, the event on Tuesday morning heightened tensions in most regions of the local government, which has recently been under attack.
Guma, the home LGA of the state Governor, Samuel Ortom, has been subjected to a number of terrorist assaults by armed bandits, who killed many inhabitants and drove others from their ancestral homes.
According to reports, the pastor was assassinated on his way to Gbajimba, the headquarters of Guma LGA, for a church function on Tuesday morning.
Mr Aondoka, a local who talked with reporters, stated that the other three victims were hacked to death.
