COVID-19 Cases Hit 43151 In Nigeria

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has recorded 462 new COVID-19 cases in the country.

So far, total COVID-19 cases now 43151 with 19565 discharged and 879 deaths across the country.

FCT takes the lead in new cases with 93 infections followed by Lagos 78, Plateau, 64, Kaduna, 56, Oyo 47.

Others are, Ondo (32), Adamawa (23), Bauchi (19), Rivers (9), Ogun (9), Delta (9), Edo (7), Kano (6), Enugu (6), Nasarawa (5), Osun (1).

Giving the breakdown, NCDC says about 279,675 simples are tested so far.

Looking at the population of the country, tests carried out are below 0.1 percent of the population.
