Abdullahi Adamu has taken over as the All Progressives Congress’s national chairman (APC).
The senator is a former governor of Nasarawa State and a fervent supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari.
At the party’s headquarters on Wednesday, he took the baton of leadership from the party’s former chairman, Mai Buni.

Since 2020, the Governor of Yobe State has chaired the National Caretaker and Convention Planning Committee.
Adamu was elected chairman of the APC during the party’s convention last Saturday in Abuja’s Eagle Square.
Over 70 additional people were also confirmed as new members of the National Working Committee (NWC).
