After spending some time with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commissiin (EFCC), which invited him for questioning, former Senate President Bukola Saraki left the commission’s premises Saturday night and he is back home in Abuja.
He confirmed this when THISDAY spoke to him a few minutes ago. Saraki said there was no big deal in honouring an invitation by an institution of the state.
“‘They asked to see me and after attending a wedding reception, I drove there myself. And when they were satisfied, they said I could go. That’s it.”
He was said to have left the premises of the anti-graft agency at about 9.15pm.
